Call Your Mother (or Sister, or Brother, or Friend...)
Hey again!
After a few difficult missions, this one is designed to be easy and fun. Let's get started!
Permission to Make a Personal Phone Call
Who's that person you've been meaning to call?
You know the one: That family member or friend that you've been meaning to call and catch up with, if only you had the time?
I've got good news for you: Today you've got the time.
Today's Mission
As in past missions, today we're picking up the phone. But it's not to call a client, lead, or even our front desk; today we're
calling a friend or family member.
Ask them what their most positive and memorable customer service experience was.
What was the scenario? How was the experience fantastic? Was it something that required a lot of effort, or a
simple detail that made all the difference?
How did this person feel before this memorable customer service experience, and how did they feel afterward?
Once the call is done, reflect: Have you done anything equally memorable? Why not?
But before you hang up, for Pete's sake... spend some time catching up with this wonderful person.
You're one-third of the way through your CX Challenge -- you've earned it.
PS - You can expect a follow-up email from me later today to check in and see how your experience with the 21-Day CX Challenge has been so far. Stay tuned!
